<p>This blog is published by <strong>Gezginol Travel</strong> (TÜRSAB licence 15746), Kuşadası, Türkiye. This page explains what happens to data when you read it.</p>

<p>Ephesus Field Notes is hosted on Blogger, a service operated by Google. Because of that, some data handling is Google's rather than ours, and is governed by <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy" rel="noopener nofollow">Google's privacy policy</a>.</p>

<h2>What we collect</h2>

<p>We do not run our own analytics, we do not operate a mailing list from this blog, and we do not ask you for personal information in order to read it.</p>

<p>As the platform, Blogger records standard technical information about visits — pages requested, approximate location, browser and device type, referring site. We can see aggregate statistics of that kind. We cannot see who you are.</p>

<h2>Cookies</h2>

<p>Blogger sets cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and Google may set cookies for its own purposes as the platform operator. If you are signed in to a Google account, Google may associate your visit with it.</p>

<p>You can control cookies through your browser settings, and through <a href="https://myadcenter.google.com/" rel="noopener nofollow">Google's own ad settings</a>. Blocking cookies will not stop you reading anything here.</p>

<p>Visitors from the European Union may see a cookie notice provided by Blogger. That notice is Google's, and it applies to Google's cookies.</p>

<h2>Comments</h2>

<p>If you leave a comment, the name you submit and the comment text are published, and are handled by Blogger's comment system. Do not put an email address, a phone number or anything else private into a comment — it will be visible to everyone.</p>

<p>We moderate comments. We will remove spam, abuse and anything that publishes another person's private information.</p>

<h2>Links to other sites</h2>

<p>This blog links frequently to the websites Gezginol Travel operates, and occasionally to third parties. <strong>We tell you plainly that those are our own sites</strong> — see <a href="/p/our-sites_1.html">Our Sites</a> for the full list — because you are entitled to know when a recommendation is also an advertisement.</p>

<p>Once you follow a link away from here, this policy no longer applies. Each of our sites has its own privacy policy, and third-party sites have theirs.</p>

<h2>Enquiries you send us</h2>

<p>If you contact us through one of our booking or contact forms, the details you provide are used to answer your enquiry and to arrange a tour if you go ahead. We do not sell contact details, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list without being asked to.</p>

<p>Tour bookings are handled under the terms and privacy policy of the site you booked through — for Ephesus, <a href="https://www.ephesustoursbylocals.com/privacy/" rel="noopener">the Ephesus Tours by Locals privacy policy</a>.</p>

<h2>Children</h2>

<p>This blog is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.</p>

<h2>Your rights</h2>

<p>If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection law, you have rights of access, correction, erasure and objection in respect of personal data held about you.</p>
